Policy Guidelines

We have always worked to best accommodate our clients time-wise, service-wise, results-wise, payments-wise. In exchange, so our relationships stay mutually respectful, we ask our clients to keep the following guidelines in mind.

  • Cash, most credit cards (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, our barbershop gift certificates. Checks not accepted.
  • Taxes and gratuities not included, and are extra. Standard gratuities guidelines: 20% – 25% per service; payable in cash only to the service provider, e.g., barber, colorist.
  • Valid charge/credit/debit card required to book appointments.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment charged half price of all services booked.
  • Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late than scheduled appointment time are automatically cancelled and charged full price of all services booked.
  • Plan to arrive 10 minutes before scheduled appointment time to allow for check-in, sign-offs on any consent forms, use of restroom, getting settled.
  • In order to remain on schedule for all our clients, we may shorten your service time if you are late and regular service prices will apply.
  • Regretfully, we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to your personal articles, including clothing and accessories.
  • Available within 10 days of original purchase for a free make-good or full refund.
  • Children 12-years and under need a supervising parent or guardian to be present, in our barbershop, with them.
  • Abusive, discourteous, disruptive people of any age are not welcome in our barbershop.
  • Our Privacy Policy describes the data we gather, and the purpose for which it is used. We will never sell your information to any third party.
  • We collect:
    • Identifiable information absolutely necessary for a transaction for our internal records.
    • Information associated with your connection to our website, including your IP address, operating system, Web browser, and page visits.
    • The email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, aggregate information on what pages of our website are accessed or visited, and any information voluntarily provided.
    • Financial information, such as a credit card number, used for order processing only.
  • We use this data to:
    • Create a better and more effective experience for our clients and prospects, e.g., understanding typical navigational patterns helps us improve website flow and efficiency.
    • Send you text and/or e-mail messages to confirm your appointments and bookings of services.
    • Communicate with you via phone, postal mail or email about relevant salon news and any questions we have for you.
  • We use the latest encryption technologies to keep your personal information safe. Your private ordering information – including your credit card number – is encrypted using several keys for maximum security. Your credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels to our ordering system (256 bit SSL encryption), and the numbers are unreadable to anyone trying to access the site remotely. The credit card information necessary to authorize an account is not stored by our systems, and is only in use long enough to complete the associated transaction. The last four (4) digits of the credit card number are stored with transaction information for identification purposes. We have implemented the requisite physical, electronic, and managerial processes to prevent unauthorized access, and maintain data security.

  • Data collection and usage for our First-Time Clients, Honored Professionals, Gift Certificates, and Referrals Rewards, and Membership programs comply with current New York State law.
